Bamboo Toilet Paper

Being in the vacation rental industry, we gain a lot of experience in household products including bedding, towels, cleaning products and, of course, toilet paper!

Making the move to bamboo toilet paper was a no-brainer, we want to do everything to use sustainable earth-friendly products. Being on a septic system, we need to use extra precautions on what we flush. Bamboo is both septic friendly, and very sustainable when compared to using traditional toilet paper, made from trees. Bamboo regrows to a harvestable state in only 1-2 years, unlike the 30 years that a tree requires.

All of the brands we tested were good, we really don’t have a complaint about any of them. We chose wrapped brands intentionally, we are in the hospitality industry, so individually wrapped rolls are a must.

The brands we tested are

Bambooloo (ordered from www.Amazon.ca)

Betterway (ordered from www.Amazon.ca)

No. 2 (ordered from www.rizzihome.com)

Summary

In the end (pun very much intended) our winner and best value has to be roll up! We truly appreciate the variety of patterned paper coverings, the little things really do matter! The paper is decent quality and comes in at the best price. The fact that we are supporting a Canadian company cements our choice!
